Alan Marsh

County Councillor for Herne and Sturry

Councillor Alan Marsh is currently the County Councillor for Herne and Sturry, covering a large and largely very rural division. First elected in 2005 he has fulfilled three terms and is delighted to be standing again in the Kent County Council election 2017. Before getting into local politics Alan worked as a pilot in both the passenger and cargo industries and clocked up an impressive 19,000 hours flying time during the course of his career, and has held 17 different flying licenses. As a County Councillor Alan is very active in his division, regularly attending Parish Council meetings across the area and assisting individuals with problems covering a variety of different issues relating to KCC functions.
