Cllr Reece Pugh

Councillor Reece Pugh was elected as a District Councillor to represent the Thanet Villages in January 2017. Born and raised in Thanet, Reece has a fondness for the Villages and their unique, thriving communities. Growing up in a business driven family, Reece is keen to promote economic regeneration for the local area paired with a strong entrepreneurial spirit within the community. A Graduate of the University of Kent, Reece works for a Member of Parliament in Westminster, dealing with local casework and coordinating campaigns. 

Andrew Cook

Councillor Andrew Cook was elected as a County Councillor in May 2017 for Herne Bay East. He is one of three representatives of Heron Ward, Herne Bay, on Canterbury City Council. As a local businessman for some 30 years and a member of the Pier Trust Andrew is passionate about Herne Bay where he lives with his wife and family. Cllr George Lawrence Kup was appointed as Deputy Chairman for Membership at NTCA in 2018 and Deputy Chairman- Political in 2019. George has been working hard to make sure that the Conservatives are the party that represents everyone. Alan Marsh

Councillor Alan Marsh is currently the County Councillor for Herne and Sturry, covering a large and largely very rural division. Sharon Sonnex

Councillor for Herne & BroomfieldCouncillor Sharon Sonnex has represented Herne and Broomfield ward since May 2007. Sharon is Chairman of the Housing Appeals and Benefits committee of Canterbury City Council and also serves on Licensing Committee. Outside of the Council Sharon lives with her husband, is an extremely proud mother to her adult son and currently works at a secondary school in Canterbury.Sharon is also a known dog lover and can often be seen around her local area lead in-hand!

Michael Tomlinson

Councillor for Westbrook Councillor Michael Tomlinson, known to friends and colleagues as Mick, represents Westbrook ward on Thanet District Council having first been elected in 2003. A former Mayor of Margate Mick prides himself on being involved in his local community and supports the continuation of the town's carnival. He serves on the council alongside his wife Shirley.

Keith Coleman-Cooke

Councillor Keith Coleman-Cooke having represented Birchington North Ward for four years, was re-elected in May 2015. He is a local resident of the town and lives with his wife. In the past Keith has served in the British Army, worked at a homeless men's shelter, managed a childrens' home, a sailing instructor and much more and now works as a consultant in the child care sector. Mrs Joy Nock, President of NTCA and former Lady Mayoress of Canterbury and wife of the late leader of Canterbury City Council Jim Nock OBE, is the Deputy Chairman of North Thanet Conservative Association with responsibility for fundraising in Herne Bay. In this capacity Joy helps to arrange a wide variety of fundraising activities across the Herne Bay Area with the aim of raising vital fund to help us continue our campaigning and other work.
