Carol Partington

Councillor Partington was elected to represent Westgate on Sea in May 2015 and currently lives and works in Margate as a Recruiter. Her previous career as a Travel Advisor and 15 years as a BDM in the Film and TV industry has taken Carol around the world visiting some amazing places and she has met some very talented people. Emma Dawson

Councillor Emma Dawson was elected as a County Councillor for Birchington and Rural in May 2017 and as a District Councillor to represent Cliftonville West in May 2015. Emma has lived in Thanet for 34 years and particularly loves her home village of Birchington. Her early working life was spent within the social health care sector looking after patients in the NHS and residential settings. Kerry Boyd

Kerry was appointed as Deputy Chairman in April 2016 and oversees the Conservative Future membership at NTCA. Kerry is passionate about young people's issues, education and community engagement. Kerry has worked in variety of different settings including a secondary school, a young people's charity and most notably as Youth Commissioner for the Office of the Kent Police and Crime Commissioner. David Breaden

David currently serves as Treasurer on the NTCA Committee. He is a lifelong member of the Conservatives having joined Harrow Weald Young Conservatives in 1964. Since moving to Kent in 1970, David has served in various senior officer positions at Conservative Associations in Faversham and Dover. He also served as a Faversham Town Councillor, 1984-1988. Upon moving to Herne Bay in 1989 he has served as Hon. Treasurer for NTCA from 1998 to 2003 and in 2009. He has been reappointed as Hon. Treasurer at every AGM since March 2013.

Joy Nock

Mrs Joy Nock, former Lady Mayoress of Canterbury and wife of the late leader of Canterbury City Council Jim Nock OBE, is the Deputy Chairman of North Thanet Conservative Association with responsibility for fundraising in Herne Bay. In this capacity Joy helps to arrange a wide variety of fundraising activities across the Herne Bay Area with the aim of raising vital fund to help us continue our campaigning and other work.

David Thomas

Councillor David Thomas was elected in May 2015 and represents Heron Ward alongside Councillor Joe Howes and Councillor Andrew Cook. David currently sits on the planning committee at Canterbury City Council. He is self employed and runs his own garden maintenance business. Ian Stockley

Councillor Stockley represents the Beltinge Ward in Herne Bay alongside his wife, Councillor Jeanette Stockley. Jeanette Stockley

Councillor Stockley was elected in May 2015 and represents the Beltinge Ward and is the current chairperson for the Standards Committee at Canterbury City Council. Prior to being elected Jeanette was a Teaching Assistant at a Grammar School in Thanet for 10 years, but is now employed full time within her husband's business as well as a Trustee for the Herne Bay Pier. Sam Bambridge

Councillor Sam Bambridge represents Westgate-on-Sea and was elected in May 2015. Sam comes from a strong business background, having run recruitment organisations internationally in addition to spearheading community projects to alleviate homelessness, combat drug addictions and supporting those in need.
