Cycling infrastructure in Canterbury District

Sustainable transport is likely to play an increasingly large part in meetings the needs of an ever-increasing population, and nowhere is this more true than the densely populated areas of London and Kent. As the Canterbury District Transport Strategy goes out to public consultation, Executive Committee member Cllr Jeremy Bellamy is set to travel to the cycling capital of the Netherlands to find out what can be done to make life easier for those who are able and willing to change their transport habits to help ease the District’s congestion.
